my youngest nephew celebrated his 1yo b'day in Feb.
i told my sis not to order any cake from bakery as i was doing him a cake.

i Saw a tutorial from MCDC on decorating cake using piping jelly. So, i tried.
well, it turned out OK, but not quite pretty as i guess my piping and decorating skill is still rather weak, and need more practise.

oh ya..since its also valentine day, i made a valentine cake too!

Melissa's biday cupcakes

Yesterday, my niece celebrated her 7 yo b'day.
Time really flies. i still vividly remember her 1yo b'day where she was crying during cake cutting ceremony, and she was just able to walk independently few steps at that time. and now, she's 7!

i made her a 5 tier cupcakes. Bough the cake trays from Internet at RM 30. first time using this.

cheese chiffon cake

Tasted a cheese chiffon from a bakery stall couple months ago, and i juts love the taste.So, i search for a reliable recipe from Internet, and i baked one.

This is the first time i bake a chiffon cake. Kept calling my sis as i was afraid that the chiffon cake will not come out beautiful.

And true enough, my 1st chiffon cake was horrible as the egg white fails to be fluffy stiff after whisked!
Anyway, i did the 2nd one on the same day, the result was great.
it was a beautiful and tasty cheese chiffon cake.

my son ate 4 slices of the cake!

Eunice and Melvin's birthday!

Febuary is birthday month for my kids. Both my son and daughter were born in febuary. ( both were born in 3rd day of chinese new year!)

This year, i organised a small b'day party for my beloved children. invited few close friends.

Of course, I baked (made) them 2 beautiful cakes!

it took me 3 days to finish the cake.
1st day, did figurine moulding, and fondant cut-outs.
2nd day, baked the cakes (1 sponge cake, 1 butter cake and some cuppies......).
3rd day, decorated the cakes ( covered the butter cake with fondant, and put on all figuriens and cutouts, frosted the sponge cake with freshcream, and decorated it with some fresh cream designs and plastics items)

the final outcomes are ...........
